This is Manjula Mulge of District 316

District Vice Chairman 2025-26.

I have joined inner wheel in 2002 and I’ve taken up various posts of the Inner Wheel club, Bidar in the past 23 years. I served as the secretary in the year 2004-05, the ISO in the year 2005-06, and the president in the year 2009-10. The Inner Wheel Club

Bidar that I served in is about 43 years old with a very good history of social work just like the city that I grew up in. I stepped in to Inner Wheel District 316 in 2020 and severe in several posts.

About Me:

I was born as the first child to my parents and also have two younger siblings. I Completed my schooling at KP School, Bidar. Then I graduated from Karnataka College, Bidar. At the age of 21, I got married to a very beautiful soul, Ravi Mulge. My husband has been very supportive over the years. It was after 5 years into my Marriage, I completed PGDCA. And another 5 years later, with two children, I did M.Sc. (Computer Science). And after post-graduation, I went on to do an Interior Designing Course for 2 years at Hyderabad. Over these years, my husband and children have been very supportive and encouraging. My husband, Ravi Mulge is a Civil engineer, Consultant, and Industrialist. He is also an active member of the Rotary Club. We have two children, elder daughter Khushi who is completed her graduation B.Tech from IIT Jodhpur and pursuing her Masters MBA from IIM Sambhalpur and younger son Vinayak who is studying MBBS from K.S. Hegede medical College Manglore.

With my course in Interior designing, I help my husband with his contracts. Also, I am the Director of Gyana Sudha Vidyalaya, Bidar. I am the vice president of BELAGU Social and Cultural Trust, Bidar- a trust which is dedicated to helping the underprivileged. BELAGU

Provides a platform for those who possess talent in singing and music. BELAGU

was founded just a few years ago and it has contributed much to society. BELAGU

BELAGU Organizes Blood donation camps as well as health check-up camps regularly. Presently, I have been chosen as one of the many directors of the Development Credit Cooperative Society, Bidar which is a cooperative bank. And am President of CRDEI wonens wing Bidar Chapter CWWStaying at Bidar happens to have given me an added advantage, that is I can understand and speak 5 languages namely Telugu, Marathi, Kannada, Hindi, and English.

Also, it is owed to my hobby of traveling and exploring places. Among others, dancing, singing and cooking are also my hobbies. I joined Inner Wheel Club with a purpose to serve. As once said by the Dalai Lama - “If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion.” I was a part of many projects in so many years, maybe the reason that lets me sleep peacefully at night. In my death, I can die peacefully knowing that at least I have been a part of minor changes in society.

About District 316 :

Coming to District that has so warmly welcomed me. Dist.316 was formed in the year 1985 with 7 clubs.4 clubs from IW Dist.318 and from IW Dist.317. The first Dist.Chairman was Mrs.Indira Dhar.our Dist, is spread in two states, that is Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. It consists of 12 revenue districts of Karnataka. And 5 revenue districts of Andhra Pradesh. Today as on date we have 43 clubs and 1260 active members.

Our District is currently led by Jayashree Sahgar, a beautiful and strong woman. Under her guidance, I am looking forward to seeing our district flourish.

At last, I am honored and grateful to join this big cause and lead our nation one step forward towards development. Also, I am looking forward to making new Friends who look forward to achieving similar goals. So here is to a new year with new beginnings.
